Network Resource Solutions (NRS), Inc was founded in 1993 by Tom Tormey.  In the 1980’s Tormey pioneered the industry’s very first “good as new” program at Cabletron Systems in Rochester, New Hampshire.  The instant success of that program led Tormey to introduce this process to other networking hardware companies.  In 1993, Tormey joined up with National LAN Exchange, becoming an owner.  Through his previous experience and knowledge, Tormey led this newly formed company and transformed it into a multi-million dollar company.  In 2003, he formed Network Resource Solutions, Inc, a woman-owned, small business.  NRS focuses mainly on Avaya/Nortel products, but is also a dominant provider of new and used HP, 3COM, Juniper and Cisco.   Today, NRS is the world’s leading provider of new and used Avaya/Nortel.

NRS aims to provide our customers with the widest range of products, support services and solutions available.  Given the dynamic nature of the technology we supply, we pride ourselves on our flexibility in embracing the constant and fundamental changes taking place in the marketplace and the ability to support our customers and partners with cost effective solutions.

“Tormey’s company [NRS] … distinguishes itself by carrying tens of millions of dollars in Nortel networking gear in its inventory so that it can ship quickly.”
